COMMENTERS on a viral TikTok about Warrington have hit back after the town was called ‘The Toilet of the North’.

‘Big Nibbles Cooks’ is a TikTok cooking account that has been running a popular series of creating sandwiches for every town in the UK.

Whilst an accomplished cook, the majority of these videos look to bait people from these towns by criticising and poking fun at the town.

His newest video, with the ‘official’ sandwich for Warrington, saw the account with more than 100,000 followers call Warrington ‘The Toilet of the North’.

The TikTok chef also claimed Warrington was used primarily for ‘being a place you go for a poo between Liverpool and Manchester’.

As expected, this led to commenters on TikTok hitting back against the claims.

One account said: “Not having this Wazza slander.”

The sandwich in question was bizarrely a sausage roll slapped between two pieces of white bread, with the account saying: “They get a filling that’s just as plain, and as simple, as the town. A great British sausage roll, with red and brown sauce, all in some bread.”

One commenter reacted to this saying: “I’ve lived in Warrington all my life, and at no point have I known anyone to eat a sausage roll sandwich.”

The video went on to reference multiple aspects of the town, saying the town’s biggest problem is ‘Dancing Chris’ who he says ‘who keeps beating up police and dancing in the middle of the town’.

Some on TikTok, however, agreed with the chef’s summation of the town.

One called it ‘spot on’ with another saying: “Warrington is just the place people in Lancashire go to for Ikea.”
