THE class of 2023 returned to Padgate Academy for a ‘heart-warming’ evening to celebrate their achievements.
Former year 11 pupils walked back through the school doors once more and possibly for the final time to honour the incredible accomplishments of their peers.
Students, families, staff, and governors all gathered under one roof to celebrate the culmination of years of hard work and dedication to education.
The evening featured some special guests, including Warrington council's chief executive, Steven Broomhead; chair of governors, Carole Owen and principal, Adam McMillan, who took the stage to share some encouraging words with students and their families.
It wasn't just a night to celebrate collective successes, as the event also shone a light on individual triumphs in various subjects.
Students seized the chance to catch up with friends and staff, reminisce about their time at Padgate Academy, and eagerly look ahead to the exciting chapters that await.
Principal, Adam McMillan said: “It was great to welcome our former year 11 students back to Padgate in order to pay tribute to their collective achievements, as well as to recognise individual accomplishments.
“It was also fantastic to have Steven Broomhead, who has played such a strong role in the development of our town, as a guest of honour on the night.
“The evening was a fitting send off for a fantastic year group.”
