IT is November so that must mean the start of winter trails.
Many people will be familiar with Walton Gardens, Chester Zoo or Dunham Massey.
But there is a new attraction for families this year, held in Warrington's Gulliver's World.
Land of Lights opens today, Saturday, and runs until the end of February.
So we went along to check it out.
Visitors are promised more 7,000 lanterns and hundreds of thousands of LED lights on their walk around the park.
And you will not be disappointed.
After the initial fear that there would be no rides open on this visit to Gulliver's, my children were mesmersied.
The 12 different themed worlds start in an indoor ocean complete with jellyfish, sharks and rays, inside what was the Splash World area.
Visitors are then taken on an outdoor walk around the entire park getting the chance to see dinosaurs, animals, farms, princess castles, unicorns, trains and even Santa himself.
In short, something every child will love.
The walk takes around an hour, and there are lots of surprises along the way. A moving T-Rex and the chance to get inside your own Cinderella pumpkin.
There are also various characters who appear including a Chinese dragon, and fairy.
While many of the lights dance along the lake in the centre of the park.
And if you get hungry or thirsty, there are plenty of treats to try. From mulled wine to churros and hot chocolate to Yorkshire pudding wraps.
While at £4 for a bag of lots of marshmallows to toast, it is a lot cheaper than many similar experiences you may have tried.
The walk finished in a magical grotto and if our children were anything to go by, there will be lots of smiles and tired youngsters by the time they get to bed.
Tickets start at £15 for adults, concessionary tickets are available. Children under 2 go free.
Land of Lights, which will be held at Gulliver’s World theme park from November 11 until February 25, will include 12 vivid dreamworlds featuring gigantic lanterns inspired by animals, mega monuments and wonders of the natural world.
