RAIL bosses have promised to fix the doors at a Warrington station 'as soon as possible'.
Network Rail said they are working to fix the entrance to Warrington West Station in Chapelford - which have been broken for three months.
The main entrance doors to the ticket office have been out of order for three months. Passengers have to use side gate and come in via the platform-side doors.
Cllr Steve Parish (Chapelford and Old Hall) said "It's great that the government backed down over ticket office closures, but it would be good if the doors were fixed so people could get in without the detour round the back of the building."
A Network Rail spokesperson said: “We’re really sorry to passengers impacted by the doors at Warrington West Station.
"We are working together with the station operator, Northern, to fix them as soon as possible."
