DRIVERS have been caught speeding today in Grappenhall.
Altogether, 32 drivers were clocked exceeding the speed limit of 20mph on Broad Lane.
The top speed recorded was more than twice the legal limit, 42mph.

Police officers were carrying out a special safety campaign called Operation Yellow.
Drivers were penalised for various other traffic offences.
A number of motorists were also summonsed to court for failing to wear a seatbelt.
Cheshire Police posted this on social media: “Officers have been engaged in Operation Yellow Fondue on Broad Lane, Grappenhall.
“This has been a targeted operation to address concerns around road safety in the area.
“A number of officers were deployed during this time.
“In total 32 drivers were captured exceeding the speed limit with a top speed of 42mph in a 20mph zone.
“A number of traffic offence reports (TORs) were issued to drivers at the scene who were found to be committing offences.
“Alongside this a number of drivers have been summonsed to court in relation to seatbelt offences.
“We will continue to deploy this method of enforcement across the area and continue to look at ensuring the roads are safe for everyone.”
