POLICE drove through fog on the M62 to collect two suspected thieves.
Warrington town centre officers travelled across the border yesterday, Thursday, to collect a man and woman arrested on their behalf by West Yorkshire patrols earlier in the day.
The pair were wanted for an alleged wallet theft from an elderly man in the town centre on October 16.
The two defendants have since been dealt with and charged to appear in court.
