FIRE crews have rushed to help after a man found their leg caught in tractor machinery.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service have sent four response units to an address on Arley Road in Appleton after reports of ‘an incident in which a casualty was trapped by the leg in tractor machinery.’
These reports were sent at 1.16pm today, Wednesday.
Three fire engines were sent from Lymm, Warrington, Winsford, as well as a rapid response vehicle from Winsford.
Crews used airbags and spreaders in order to release the victim from the machinery.
The man was then taken to hospital by an air ambulance.
