A BROWNIE group in Culcheth has benefited from a dance workshop given by a theatre company.
Centenary Theatre Company visited 7th Culcheth Brownies on October 12 and hosted a dance workshop for the group.
One member of the Brownies group will be taking to the stage with the theatre company during their production of 'Nativity: The Musical' at Christmas.
The performances will be held at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn.
The Brownie unit had organised a group visit to see the show so as a thank you, Centenary visited them to do a dance workshop to teach them the show’s final number 'Sparkle and Shine.'
The show’s choreographer, Rebecca Mainwaring, led the session with enthusiasm whilst cast member, Georgia Heyes, joined to help teach the routine along with junior cast members Jasmine Dunn and Georgia Dunn.
Dan Grimes, who is also the chair of Centenary Theatre Company, said "We had a great time joining the Brownies for the evening to answer their questions about the show and to teach them one of our dance routines.
"They made us feel very welcome and they certainly were quick learners.
"We can’t wait to see them again when they come to see the show on stage."
'Nativity: The Musical' is being performed at The Brindley in Runcorn from November 14-18 at 7:30pm nightly, with a Saturday matinee at 2pm which will be BSL signed.
