A STOCKTON Heath road is closed this week due to electrical works.
East Avenue is shut for a small section from its junction with London Road at Nando's to a nearby passageway. It means traffic cannot enter or leave the road there.
The alternative route will be via London Road, Grappenhall Road, Sandy Lane and vice versa and via London Road, Sandy Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out electrical works in the carriageway.
The work started on Monday and is set to take a week.
It is another problem for motorists in Stockton Heath and Appleton with temporary lights in Appleton near to the London Bridge pub on London Road still in place.
