A CHARITY campaign in memory of Brianna Ghey will be offering t-shirts in support of the campaign.
Peace in Mind has been set up between Brianna's mother, Esther, and the Warrington Guardian.
It aims to provide long-term mental health support for schoolchildren across the country, beginning in Warrington.
The campaign is in memory of Brianna, who was killed at the age of 16 in February this year.
An initial fundraising goal of £50,000 has been set by the campaign, with the aim of allowing these funds to pay for school staff across the town to attend courses from the Mindfulness in Schools Project.
This will allow schools to implement mindfulness practices, which are proven to improve the mental resilience of recipients.
The campaign has already raised £7,500 in its first five weeks, having received the backing of a number of parties, including Warrington Wolves, Warrington Borough Council, and even 1980s icon Boy George.
Now, Peace in Mind t-shirts will be made available for individuals to order, with proceeds being donated to the campaign's GoFundMe page.
Recommended donations for products are as follows:
- Child t-shirt - £10
- Adult t-shirt - £15
- Adult sweatshirt - £25
To order one of these items of clothing, head to the campaign's social media pages - Facebook: Peace in Mind UK, and Instagram: @peaceinminduk.
Other products that have been made available in the name of the Peace in Mind campaign include wax melts from Twinkle Time Melts, and tattoos provided by Sam Small Ink.
Businesses and schools across Warrington are also being encouraged to participate in a day of fundraising on what would have been Brianna Ghey's 17th birthday - November 7 - called 'Wear Pink for Peace.'
It will involve individuals wearing an item of pink clothing, and donating a recommended amount of £1 or more to the campaign's fundraising page.
Speaking at the launch of the campaign, Esther Ghey said: "When Tom Bedworth suggested a joint campaign with myself and the Warrington Guardian, I jumped at the opportunity.
"I knew that I wanted to do something but I felt I didn't have the knowledge or the resources to start something on my own.
"To be working alongside the Warrington Guardian with the aim of making a positive change for people in my hometown is something very special to me.
"Tom is a very genuine person and has been working hard to pull things together. I think we make a great team."
