THREE weeks of work will take place on Cromwell Avenue from next month.
The road will close southbound from November 16 to 18 from 9pm until 6am to allow Openreach to carry out chamber renewal works.
Then three weeks of roadworks starts on Sunday, November 19 from 7pm until 1am.
This from the roundabout at Twenty Acre Road/Old Hall Road to its junction with Ladywood Road/Westbrook Crescent; Twenty Acre Road from Cromwell Avenue for 50 metres; Shackleton Close from Cromwell Avenue for 100 metres.
The alternative route will be via Sankey Way, Whittle Avenue, Westbrook Way and vice versa. The closure is required for carriageway resurfacing.
