POLICE have launched an appeal after a suspected arson attack.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to Latchford in the early hours of Saturday morning following reports of a motorcycle on fire.
Firefighters believe it may have been started “deliberately”, prompting police to investigate.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 4.25am on Saturday September 30 police were made aware of a fire involving a motorbike on Milton Grove, Latchford.
“The exact cause of the fire is unknown, although firefighters believe it may be deliberate.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire police at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML-1656902.”
One engine, from Warrington Fire Station, arrived at Milton Grove shortly after 4am.
A hose reel water jet was used to extinguish the flames.
