A POPULAR Warrington pub will be hosting a real ale festival later this month.
The Ferry Tavern, in Penketh, is set to welcome back another of its popular beer festivals - and this will feature more than 20 cask ales.
According to a post on social media, the team organising the festival - which will take place on Friday, September 29, and Saturday, September 30 - have worked hard to select the drinks that will be on offer.
In order to allow guests to try as many of the ales as possible, the Ferry Tavern will be serving one-third of pints during the festival - allowing customers to sample the beers without breaking the bank or leaving with a fuzzy head.
Posting online, the Ferry Tavern said: "We've been hard at work curating a selection of 20 exceptional cask ales, all to be lovingly hand-pulled by our fantastic team.
"With such a variety, you might find it tough to choose just one – no worries, though, because we've got 'thirds' glasses available for you to sample three different ales!
"In addition to our real ales, we'll be offering bottled beers and ciders, as well as our regular drink choices. Plus, our weekend drink promotions will still be running for your enjoyment."
There will be food on offer during the festival, with the popular local watering hole promising to keep customers informed of updates in the coming weeks.
The Ferry Tavern's autumn real ale festival will take place on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30.
