WARRINGTON Market is ready to welcome back a hugely popular comedy event later this month.
The indoor eatery - known as the Cookhouse - has held comedy events for the past two years, and the latest event will take place on Thursday, September 21.
Running from 6.30pm-11pm, Bren Riley returns as host to support seasoned comedian, Eddy Brimson and London-based Joseph Emslie.
This will be followed by the next instalment on Thursday, October 19, which will feature stand-up sets from award-winning comedians Scott Bennett and Dniesh Nathan.
Cllr Tom Jennings, cabinet member for economic development and innovation, said: “The comedy club events have been a great success and a fantastic addition to the Cookhouse Live series, I encourage everyone to come down to the market at Time Square to join in the fun and laughter this autumn.”
Bren Riley from Big Comedy UK, said: “We are excited to be back for a new season of the Cookhouse Comedy Club – it’s a fantastic venue, with great food and drink, and always a friendly, enthusiastic crowd.”
Tickets are limited, and are on sale now - food is also available during the Cookhouse Comedy Club event, too.
Attendees must be aged 18 or over and seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
