WHICH pub in Warrington is top of the shots, king of the pumps or queen of the wine?
Where do you go for a quick drink after work or to meet family and friends at the weekend?
Is there one pub that is better than the rest and deserves to be crowned Best Pub or Best Bar in Warrington?
In the latest instalment of our Best of 2023 competition, pubs will be taking centre stage and we want to know which establishment should make our shortlist.
We’ve already given out 20 awards so far in Warrington for hair, nails and beauty, tattoos and independent shops, as well as pizza, dessert and cocktails and many more.
Voting is currently taking place to find Warrington’s Best for Curry, with the vote closing at midnight on Monday, September 11.
This week it’s pubs and bars.
Tell us which of the town’s establishments should make our shortlist and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.
Which is your favourite pub or bar?
HOW IT WORKS:
Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations will then close each Monday morning at 12pm.
Every Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.
You will be able to vote in one of three ways:
- By commenting under the relevant post on our Warrington Guardian Facebook or Twitter pages = 1 vote
- By entering via the online article on our Warrington Guardian website = 2 votes
- By entering via our Warrington Guardian newspaper = 5 votes
The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.
Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.

So, get in touch with your pub or bar nominations and tell us who is amazing enough to be one of our finalists.
To make your nomination go to facebook.com/warringtonguardian or find us on Twitter @warringtonnews
Alternatively, you can email your nomination, telling us the name of the pub or bar, where they’re based and why they deserve to be shortlisted, to heidi.summerfield@newsquest.co.uk
Don’t forget to keep an eye on our website and our social media each Friday morning, when we will launch a new Best of 2023 search and then every Thursday to vote for your favourite from our shortlist.
