POLICE searching for a missing man from Warrington have sadly found a body.
Ian Price was last seen at around 12pm on Friday, August 18, at his home in Appleton.
Officers launched an urgent appeal for help in finding his body earlier on Saturday.
However they confirmed officers searching for him found a body earlier today off Lumb Brook Road.
His next of kin have been informed.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: " "Police searching for a missing man in Warrington have sadly discovered a body
"The discovery was made earlier today in the Lumb Brook Park area. Formal identification has not yet been completed but it is believed to be the missing man, his next of kin have been made aware.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."
