A NATIONAL pub chain with venues across Warrington are offering a free drink in return for showing support for the women’s football team at the World Cup final.

Greene King are running a scheme ‘inviting the nation to show support for the women’s team this weekend’.

England will play Spain in the World Cup final on Sunday morning, the first World Cup final for an England football team since 1966, and the first in England Women’s history.

Fans can qualify for a complimentary beer, cider, wine, spirit, or soft drink for any customers wearing England colours, kit, or face paint.

The offer will be live between 11am and 2pm on Sunday, 20 August 2023, with the game kicking off at 11 am.
