THE opening date for a unique yoga venue based in the heart of Warrington has been revealed.
Hotpod Yoga, owned by Warrington resident Stuart Lawton, will open in Time Square on September 29.
It is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ experience that caters to all levels from beginners to longtime practitioners through an adaptable vinyasa-based flow.
And as soon as you enter the pod you’ll feel transported as it is filled with flowing lights, rhythmic beats, and aromatic scents in 37°C heat.
Stuart, born and bred in Warrington, discovered Hotpod Yoga himself after 25 years of high-pressure career life.
He decided to give it a try after suffering from stress, anxiety, and panic attacks.
Stuart said: “Before Hotpod Yoga, I’d spent most of my life burning the candle at both ends and the sides too sometimes.
“I was forever stressed and anxious and experienced burnout and panic attacks for the first time just after turning 40.
“My brother convinced me to give Hotpod Yoga a try in 2018. I’d never been to yoga before and had all the preconceptions of what it would be like, and it turned out to be none of those things.
“It’s dark, so no one is judging you. It’s hot, so you will get sweaty and feel exhilarated.
“It has a vibe - the teachers are lovely, the tunes are cool, it smells great.
“I was instantly hooked - I felt like Hotpod Yoga made it really accessible for me to try and I felt the benefits right away.
“Yoga has been a gateway to a much better life for me and that has had a huge impact on my relationships in every way.”
To celebrate the launch, the studio will be hosting a series of complimentary taster sessions on September 30 and October 1.
Following these free classes, an introduction offer of two weeks of unlimited classes for £18 will be available.
Anyone that falls in love with the post-class ‘Hotpod feeling’ will then be able to choose from a range of attendance options to suit them - including a single class for £15, a 5-class pass for £65, or a variety of monthly membership options ranging from £39 to £90 per month.
Stuart added: “Forget whatever you’re thinking about yoga, it really doesn’t apply here.
“Whether you’re just starting out or have been practising for decades, you’ll step out of the pod with a real buzz and a glow about you.
“I’ve lived in Warrington my whole life, and the people here feel so real to me.
“We’re not traditional ‘yoga people’ and I get that, but I know what Hotpod Yoga has done for me and I want the people of Warrington to experience that too.”
