AS the school holidays get underway, a popular garden centre is holding a range of events for children.
On Tuesday, August 15, magician Stevie Mandeeny will appear at Bents Garden and Home in Glazebury.
He will take to the stage at the Warrington Road site from midday to 2pm for an ‘unforgettable journey into the realm of wonder and illusion’.
The following week, on Tuesday, August 22, summer sensations Barbie and Ken will be roller-skating around the store, posing for selfies and putting on 30 minute shows at midday, 1pm and 2pm.
On Friday, September 1, Bents’ grand summer finale will be held with four princesses – Rapunzel, Belle, Ariel and Elsa – visiting the store, holding 30 minute shows at midday, 1pm and 2pm.
Bents’ free covered beach and outdoor play area will also be open throughout the summer for family fun.
Moreover, Jurassic Cove Adventure Golf will provide excitement with life-sized moving dinosaurs ready to challenge players.
As well as all this entertainment for young children, Bents also provides dining options, offering everything from coffee and homemade cake to a summer salad with a glass of wine.
