THE price of fuel in Warrington has continued to steadily fall since the beginning of the year, as costs recover from record highs last year.
According to the latest daily figures from comparison website petrolproces.com, ASDA at Westbrook is the cheapest for both petrol and diesel.
As is commonly the case, the most expensive place to fill up would be at Lymm Services on the M6 and Burtonwood Services on the M62.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, fuel costs peaked in June 2022 before starting to drop the following month.
One year later, fuel prices in Warrington have returned to levels last seen in December 2021.
