WARRINGTON’s largest car boot sale has been cancelled this weekend.
Rain has forced organisers to call off the popular event on Sunday, July 23.
Hundreds of people clock to Newton Road in Winwick to bag a bargain.
Organisers told shoppers on social media this morning: “The weather forecase is solid rain all day and our policy is to open if there is a chance.
“But there is no chance.
“We look to reopen for the Wednesday car boot on July 26.
“Sorry to all our sellers and buyers. See you next Sunday.”
