YOU cannot escape the talk about AI at the moment.

And especially ChatGPT.

So we thought we would try it out.

We asked the site to plan a family day out in Warrington for a family of four while the summer holidays are almost here.

You will be able to spot one or two errors in its suggestion. But most of Warrington is covered.

Although if you did all this in a day, we think you may be pretty tired.

What do you think of ChatGPT's suggestion

Here's its suggested itinerary:

Morning:

Start your day with a visit to Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden. It's a beautiful and serene place with lovely walking paths, flowers, and a playground for children. Best of all, it's free to enter and enjoy nature.

Warrington Guardian:

After spending some time at the garden, head to Walton Hall and Gardens. The park offers extensive grounds to explore, a children's zoo, and a play area. Entry to the park is free, but there might be a small fee for some attractions like the zoo.

Lunch:

Enjoy a picnic in the park at Walton Hall.

Bring some sandwiches, snacks, and drinks from home to keep costs low. Alternatively, there is a café on-site if you prefer to grab a bite to eat there.

Afternoon:

Visit the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery. It's free to enter and provides an opportunity for children to learn about local history and view various exhibits. They often have interactive displays and activities for kids.

Take a stroll along the Sankey Valley Park, a beautiful green space with a river running through it. You can enjoy the scenery, have a family walk, or even rent bicycles if you wish (there may be a small fee for bike rentals).

Wrap up your day with a visit to the Apple Jacks Adventure Park. While there is an admission fee, it offers a range of activities and attractions for children, including outdoor play areas, go-karting, animal encounters, and more.

Evening:

If you have any money left in your budget, treat yourselves to a meal at one of the family-friendly restaurants in Warrington. There are several options to choose from, such as Frankie & Benny's, Nando's, or Pizza Hut, where you can enjoy a satisfying dinner without breaking the bank.

Remember to adjust the activities based on the interests and ages of your children. Also, make sure to check the opening hours and any potential entry fees for the attractions before your visit. Have a fantastic day out in Warrington!
