ARMED police raided a home in Orford on Wednesday morning – seizing a ‘number of weapons’.
Police officers attended an address on Cabul Close at 10.55am after reports from a partner agency of ‘a number of weapons’ being found.
Officers were supported by the firearms unit and were sent to the scene where a thorough search was conducted of the property.
Numerous weapons were located at the scene and seized.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 10.55am on Wednesday 19 July, police were called by a partner agency who reported that a number of weapons had been found at an address in Cabul Close, Warrington.
“Local officers, supported by the firearms unit, were deployed to the scene and conducted a search of the property, with a number of weapons being located and seized.
“Enquiries are ongoing at this time and no arrests have been made.”
