A BRITAIN'S Got Talent comedian will be headlining a show that will take place in Culcheth.
Jonny Awsum made it to the live semi-finals of the ITV talent show in 2017, and he will be headlining a comedy show taking place in September.
The show will be held at the Daten, off Charnock Road, in Culcheth.
Before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Jonny was selling out shows in theatres across the country, with What's On Stage describing his show as '60 minutes of unadulterated fun.'
Now, however, Jonny will be headlining the latest Who Dares Grins comedy show in Warrington.
Kirsty Murdock is the manager of Who Dares Grins, she said: "Comedy Night Live is back at the Daten on Saturday, September 16, when another three fantastic professional comedians are here along with your compere, the hilarious Bobby Murdock, to bring you the belly laughs."
Alongside Jonny Awsum, there will be two other performers on the night: Kevin O'Brien and Sam Avery.
Kirsty said: "After a long career working around the world as an engineer, teacher and project manager, Kevin has been writing and performing stand-up comedy since 2018 and has gained a reputation for sharp stage wit and specialises in family-friendly, deadpan, quickfire, one-liner and self-deprecating jokes."
She added: "Friendly and enthusiastic, Sam's observational style instantly puts audiences at ease allowing him to regale them with his tales of everyday life.
"Sam has gained a reputation for being able to spark the dullest of rooms into life with his warm, infectious humour and quick wit."
Compered by Bobby Murdock, Kirsty concluded: "Bobby is instantly likeable with the ability to take you on a journey with him."
Comedy Night Live comes to Culcheth on Saturday, September 16 - tickets for start at £12, and can be found at: https://whodaresgrins.co.uk/
