AN AWARD-WINNING pub-loving comedian will be returning to Warrington next year, following the smash success of his appearance in 2022.
Al Murray, also known as The Pub Landlord, is embarking on another UK tour, and has decided to bring his comedic talents back to Warrington.
The ‘Guv Island’ tour will see the comedian provide his unique brand of everyday common sense combined with insightful commentary and apply it to the country.
In a listing for the gig the show is said to be advertising the following: “Country, the UK, lost its way, seeks life partner/mentor/inspiration. Good sense of humour essential. No timewasters, tedious show-offs or offend-o-trons need apply. HR free zone.”
It went on to describe the show as: “Standing up so you don’t have to take it lying it down anymore, the Pub Landlord is back to make sense of the questions you probably already had the answers to.”
“You know what they say: There’s no school like the old school, with the dodgy overflowing toilets.”
The show will take place next year, on Friday, October 18, at 7.30 pm. Tickets start at £32.75.
Al’s last performance in Warrington was in November of last year – which saw the pub landlord rocking Parr Hall, as well as surprising the local panto during their rehearsals.
