BAILIFFS have been requested to attend a popular garden centre in Warrington.
It comes after a traveller encampment has moved onto land at Bents Garden Centre in Glazebury.
The group contains five caravans and their associated vehicles.
According to an unauthorised encampment log for Cheshire and Warrington run by Cheshire West and Chester Council, the encampment arrived on the privately-owned land yesterday, Sunday.
But the log states that bailiffs have now been instructed to serve notice to the group.
It is reported to be the only unauthorised encampment in the town currently, but last week groups with as many as 10 caravans moved onto green space in Appleton.
They set up on Appleton Thorn Playing Fields and Millenium Green but have since moved on.
