FIRE crews spent five hours tackling a blaze in Warrington on Saturday afternoon.
They were called to Lovely Lane shortly after 1pm.
The found a fire in the roof of the terraced home, believed to have started by an electrical fault.
Crews from Lymm, Penketh and Stockton Heath were called.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A fire in the roof of a terraced property was tackled by firefighters in breathing apparatus.
"A hose reel jet was used to put out the blaze.
"Once the fire was out an investigation into the cause was carried out. The fire is believed to have started because of an electrical fault.
"Firefighters were at the scene for five hours."
