Harvey raised more than £8,000 for school playground equipment by walking 16 miles last year and went ‘one bigger and better’ this year.
Harvey trekked 40 miles over two days, starting at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool on April 1 and finishing at Manchester United’s Old Trafford on April 2.
The inspirational youngster wanted to complete the challenge for his cousin Zak who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in June last year.
Mum Naiomi said: “Zak has lost all his hair and he’s gone through aggressive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and Alder Hey has pretty much looked after him the whole time.
“What triggered the idea for the walk for Harvey was hearing how amazing Alder Hey had been – staff there are always on call when Zak needs anything.
“And he approached us and said he really wanted to do something for Zak.”
She added: We are immensely proud of Harvey, this is an incredible achievement for all of his hard work fundraising.
“Both Harvey are myself are beaming with pride at him winning such a fantastic award. He is so proud of himself and has now got his mind set into his next fundraising challenge.
“The support Harvey has received from his school, headteacher and school teachers has been truly inspirational.“

Headteacher at Stockton Heath Primary School Dan Harding said: “Harvey is a very special child and one of the kindest, most caring, respectful and selfless pupils I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
“I could not be any prouder of Harvey and everything he has done for the good of others in the past two years – what a star!”
