WARRINGTON is set to be home to England's first drive-thru Chinese takeaway.
The drive-thru can be found off Bridge Foot, and is set to open in the next fortnight.
It will be called Wiyo, and once it is fully operational it will be open every day of the week.
The drive-thru is set to open officially on Saturday, June 17, and from then will be open seven days per week between 5-9pm.
Wiyo will have its soft launch tomorrow, Saturday, and on Sunday, June 11 - again, between 5-9pm.
The new drive-thru can be found off Knutsford Road, on School Street, near Bridge Foot.
One of Wiyo's owners, Leon Freedman, said: "Our goal was to create a quick, convenient, great tasting menu, that can be eaten on the go for the people of Warrington and surrounding areas.
"We will be employing at least 15 staff from the local area and hope to bring some life back to a once run-down space in the centre of town."
One of the drive-thru's most popular foods is set to be the salt and pepper chicken, with Leon adding: "Our salt and pepper chicken has been a hit at all the food festivals."
Wiyo will open officially on Saturday, June 17 at 5pm, following its soft launch this weekend, June 10 and 11.
