WARRINGTON'S new nightclub has confirmed its opening date, and who will be performing.
It was announced that the former Trilogy nightclub, which closed earlier this year, will be transformed into a new venue for the town's revellers to enjoy.
Truth nightclub will be taking over the space in the heart of the town centre.
Recently, the nightclub's owners have applied to Warrington Borough Council to have the club's operating hours extended, which would see the club remain open as late (or early) at 6am at weekends.
This would also allow the venue to serve alcoholic beverages until 5.30am on those nights, too.
Now, the nightclub has confirmed its official opening date.
Truth nightclub will open on Friday, July 14.
It was also confirmed that renowned Swedish DJ Basshunter - with hits such as 'Now You're Gone' and 'All I Ever Wanted' - will perform at the opening.
The club said: "Truth nightclub is ready to rock your world with its grand opening on July 14 featuring a live performance by none other than Basshunter!
"Get ready to dance the night away with the hottest beats and electrifying atmosphere.
"Tickets are on sale now, so don't wait any longer.
"See you on the dance floor."
The opening night's event page reads: "Join us for a night of non-stop dancing and music, as the iconic Swedish DJ takes the stage and brings his signature sound to the dance floor - LIVE on stage from 1am.
"With state-of-the-art upgraded lighting and sound systems, Truth nightclub is the perfect venue to experience the electrifying energy of Basshunter's music.
"Don't miss out on this unforgettable night of fun and excitement, get your tickets now."
As per the event site, tickets are priced between £3 and £4, plus booking fees.
Another post on social media from the club explains that 'Truth offers two rooms, VIP booths and a mixed genre music policy played by the most talented DJs in the UK.'
Truth nightclub will be located at 15-17 Friars Gate, and will open on Friday, July 14.
