FIRE crews in Warrington have tackled two fires in the town so far this weekend, including a car blaze and a garden shed which had was alight.
At 6.28pm on Friday evening, one fire engine was called to a car which was on fire in Birch Avenue.
Police were also informed.
In the early hours of this morning, Saturday, firefighters attended Barrow Hall Lane.
Multiple calls had been received shortly before 3.40am about a fire in a garden.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed: “On arrival, firefighters found a shed to be well alight and used a hose reel water jet to extinguish the fire.
“Home safety checks were carried out at two neighbouring properties.”
