A MOTORIST was caught drink driving twice over the legal limit on the M56 near Stretton this morning, Friday.
Cheshire Road Traffic Police were alerted to the driver by a concerned member of the public at approximately 6am.
Officers stopped the vehicle along junction 10 of the M56 and issued a breathalyser test on the individual.
It was reported by North West Motorway Police that the driver failed the test having provided ‘a positive breath test of more than twice the legal limit’.
The driver was arrested at the scene and taken to custody.
