WARRINGTON Wolves are up to their old tricks on social media again.
The club are drumming up interest for the upcoming game away at Leigh Leopards tomorrow evening, Friday.
It looks to be a tough tussle on the Leigh Sports Village pitch, following Wire’s recent success in the south of France and the home side’s good form.
It is also a local derby, and Wire have been turning up the heat by poking fun at the neighbouring town on social media.
While Leigh may not be the most difficult place to get to, being only a few miles down the road and on the other side of the East Lancs, one huge Wolves fan is struggling to get there.
If you saw Wolfie around the town yesterday, he was desperate for a lift.

A trip to Warrington Central proved useless with Leigh not having its own train station – a common bugbear among residents of the Greater Manchester town.
A video on the club’s social media pages said: “Can anyone give Wolfie a lift to Leigh tomorrow night? We forgot it's not advanced enough yet for a train station.”
Wolfie was also spotted trying to hitchhike outside Tesco Extra on Winwick Road, before giving up and appearing to walk.
Last month, it was reported that A new train station in Golborne was just one Whitehall signature away – and it could pave the way for a new one in Culcheth.
Golborne Train Station is no ‘pie in the sky’ idea, according to Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, who is waiting on a sign-off from the Government before the vision of regenerating his hometown as a commuter hub can become a reality.
Both Burnham and Leigh’s MP James Grundy, despite being on opposite sides of the political track, have the same direction in mind for the station – which is to reconnect it to Manchester, improving connectivity just for the town itself, but the wider Leigh area.
