The Warrington Guardian published six death notices this week.

Every week, the Warrington Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have passed away.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Anyone who wishes to send their own message of condolence can do so by visiting the deceased's death notice page.

John CLIFTON

CLIFTON John Michael (Mike) Passed away peacefully at St Rocco's Hospice, on Tuesday 25th April, 2023 aged 86 years.

Dearly loved husband of Angela, beloved father of Helen, Chris and Michael and loving granddad to his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. A Requiem Mass will take place at St Peters R/C Church on Friday 19th May 2023, at 11.45am, followed by a committal at Walton Lea Crematorium at 1.20pm.

Margaret Hilda BRIERLEY

BRIERLEY Margaret Hilda Sadly, passed away at Warrington General Hospital on Monday, 1st May aged 88 years.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 30th May 2023, Walton Lea Crematorium at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations in Margaret's memory to Dementia UK.

Brenda WHALEY

WHALEY Brenda Sadly, passed away on the 9th of April 2023, at Warrington Hospital, aged 86 years.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her loving husband John, daughters Gaynor and Pam, son in-laws Pat and Dave, grandchildren Erin, Brett, Becke and Nathan. A funeral service will take place at Walton Lea Crematorium on Monday 22nd May 2023 at 2.40pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired please to B12, the forget me not ward Warrington hospital.

Jennifer Jane McCOURT

McCOURT Jennifer Jane peacefully passed away on Monday 1st May in Broadgreen Hospital.

Jennifer will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. The funeral service is to take place at Saint John Henry Newman Church on Thursday 25th May at 12:00 followed by interment at Fox Covert Cemetery at 13:30. All donations in lieu of flowers to be made out to Cancer Research UK or the British Heart Foundation.

Stan GANDY

GANDY Stan Stan passed away peacefully at home on the 26th April 2023 aged 84 years.

He will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. A funeral service will take place at Walton Lea Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at 2.00pm. Dress code, smart casual with a splash of colour. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Research. Donations can be made via the tribute garden

Barrie R. DAVIES

DAVIES Barrie R. Born 22 June 1942, Sutton Leach, St Helens, died 19 April 2023, Warrington. Husband of Enid, father of Mark and Stephen. Barrie taught catering for many years at St Helens College. Funeral at St Joseph's Church, Penketh WA5 2BB at 11am on 26 May.
