A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with arson in connection with a property fire in Fingerpost.
At around 5am on Sunday, May 7, there was a reported fire at a property on Bolton Street.
There was an occupant inside the address at the time, who was unharmed.
Michael Tabern, 32, of Portland Road, Chapelford, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
He has been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.
He was due to appear at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court today Tuesday, May 9.
