THE coronation of King Charles III is upon us, and to celebrate the momentous occasion we've been given a bank holiday weekend.
Whether you'll be celebrating the coronation, or just enjoying the three-day weekend, there's one thing that will affect us all.
Road closures:
A number of roads throughout Warrington will be closing at various points through the long weekend.
Some of the roads in question will be closed to accommodate coronation street parties, among other things.
The full list of roads that have applied for permission to close from Warrington Borough Council is as follows:

Sunday, May 7

- Old Smithy Lane, Lymm
- Parry Drive, Thelwall
- Westbourne Road, Stockton Heath
- Whitefield Road, Walton
- Vincent Close, Old Hall
Monday, May 8
- Barley Road, Thelwall
- Kingsley Drive, Appleton
Anyone planning to travel on the bank holiday weekend may wish to check their route before setting off, as the above closures could cause difficulties or delays.
