A FIRST trailer has been released for a Netflix drama set to feature a former Appleton student alongside Hollywood stars such as Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie.

‘All the Light We Cannot See’ is the upcoming adaptation of a Pulitzer Prize winning novel, with Priestley College alumnus Corin Silva set to appear in a recurring role on the show.

The trailer shows the story of a blind French girl and a German soldier, whose paths cross in Nazi occupied France during the Second World War.

Corin follows up his role in the smash success SAS Rogue Heroes, where he starred alongside Conor Swindells, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Allen, and Sofia Boutella.

All the Lights We Cannot See is being adapted for the screen by the same writer who adapted the real-life story of SAS Rogue Heroes, Steve Knight.

Following up his blinding success in Peaky Blinders and Spencer, Knight has clearly taken a shine to the work of Corin, casting him in back to back projects.

Directing the project is Shawn Levy, director of the Night at the Museum franchise, as well as Ryan Reynold's Free Guy. With Levy set to direct Ryan Reynolds in 

Corin will play Frank Volkheimer, a recurring role in the show of a German boy who attends school alongside the protagonist before later joining him in the war effort.
