DACHSHUND owners rejoice!
A popular site in Culcheth is hosting an event exclusively for owners, and fans, of the diminutive four-legged friends.
Partridge Lakes Cafe, off Glaziers Lane, Culcheth, is once again holding its 'Dachshund Cafe' event this weekend.
According to the cafe's social media posts, more than 80 of the loveable canines are already booked in to attend the event, which will take place on Saturday, April 29.
Booking is required for the event, which is just £1 - and that includes a free 'pupaccino' on the day, too.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 29, from 11am until 3pm, with Patridge Lakes saying: "Meet up with fellow owners and dachshund lovers at this casual event!"
Patridge Lakes Cafe is already a dog-friendly venue, and is highly rated on social media and on Google reviews, too, with a solid rating of 4.5 out of five on Facebook.
Partridge Lakes Cafe also has its own dedicated menu for dogs, which includes roast dinners, dog treats, treat pots, and even specialised drinks for your four-legged friends, too.
The dachshund event seems to be gathering pace, with hundreds of comments already on the social media post.
One commenter said: "I came to this one with my 'dog bandanas' stall it was so lovely meeting all the dogs and their paw-rents."
Another said that the event seemed a good idea, and requested a similar event for their own dog: "Awww, wish there was a Labradoodle [event]."
