SAM Smith has paid tribute to Brianna Ghey during a concert on the singer's latest tour.
The 'Stay With Me' singer wore a unique outfit on stage, which also included Brianna's name on a headpiece that completed the costume.
Smith, who uses they/them pronouns, paid tribute to Brianna, 16, who was found with multiple stab wounds on a path in Culcheth Linear Park on Saturday, February 11.
Two 15-year-olds, a boy and a girl, have been charged with murder in relation to Brianna's death, with a trial due to take place in July.
On Friday, Smith posted their tribute to Brianna on social media, which garnered support from thousands and thousands of people across the country, and the world.
Smith's post on Facebook has received more than 15,000 interactions, and their Instagram post has been seen by many of their 14.7million followers.
The singer's tribute on Twitter received thousands of likes and retweets, too.
Sam Smith is currently attending venues across the country as part of their 'Gloria' tour.
Smith's costume tribute to the Birchwood High School student came during their date at the London O2 on Thursday evening, with the tribute being posted online on Friday, April 20.
In the wake of Brianna's death, vigils were organised across the country, and money was raised to support Brianna's family, which totalled more than £100,000.
Brianna, a trans schoolgirl, was laid to rest in March, with hundreds of mourners attending her funeral at St Elphin's Parish Church - Brianna's family asked that donations be made to MiSP (Mindfulness in Schools Project), with more than £13,800 being raised.
Cheshire Constabulary continues to urge individuals not to speculate about Brianna's death, as this could prejudice the impending trial due to take place in July.
