WORK is progressing on a new 24-hour care facility complex in Grappenhall.
The £11million project is only a few weeks away from completion and will see a 70-bed care centre located on the former site of the Springbrook Pub, off Knutsford Road.
External brickwork and roof tiling has been completed at New Care’s new branch, with building work being carried out by award-winning construction company, McGoff Group.
When complete, the site will cater for the needs of Grappenhall residents and the surrounding areas offering residential, dementia and 24-hour nursing care with high end hotel-style services including fine dining and a meaningful programme of daily events and activities.
The ‘new generation’ care facility will feature fully furnished en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges and dining rooms.
The luxury complex will also be complete with a hair salon, nail bar and beautifully landscaped front and rear gardens on site.
Commissiong director at New Care, Dawn Collett said: “Work at Grappenhall is progressing well; we are now less than four weeks away from practical completion and it’s exciting to see the building taking shape.
“Our care facility has been expertly designed to offer outstanding care in a comfortable and stylish environment and we are already starting to recruit the 100-strong team and take enquiries from our first residents.”
