A CLONED car has been seized on the M6 after being spotted by Cheshire police.
Cloning is when a vehicle’s identity has been copied by criminals by stealing or duplicating registration plates.
The driver of this cloned Peugeot 308 was found to be disqualified until 2025.
GMP police forced the car to stop yesterday, Saturday, using specialist containment methods.
GMP police posted on Twitter: “This cloned Peugeot 308 was picked up on the M56 onto the M6 by Cheshire police.
“Joined by road traffic patrols as it approached Manchester and pre emptive tactics deployed to prevent a pursuit.
“Driver found to be disqualified until 2025! Arrested, car seized.”
