BELOVED Scouse comedian Adam Rowe is coming to Warrington’s Parr Hall as part of his new “What’s Wrong with Me?” tour.
Adam is the host of the massively successful ‘Have a Word’ podcast alongside co-host and fellow comedian Dan Nightingale, alongside his uber-popular stand up shows.
‘What’s Wrong with Me?’ follows on from Adam’s previous three stand-up specials, ‘Club Comic’, ‘Imperious’, and his most recent special ‘Juicy’, which released in February of this year.
Adam lists American comedians such as Bill Burr as his inspiration, with the Liverpool comic saying his dark sense of humour comes from his Mum.
Further, the Liverpool comedian is a trailblazer in the UK comedy podcast scene, having created a bespoke purpose built studio purely for ‘Have a Word’. This followed in the footsteps of American comedian Andrew Schulz, who also use a podcast to catapult his comedy career.
‘What’s Wrong with Me’ is a show of self-reflection, with Adam having “come to the conclusion that there’s something wrong with him, although for a hypochondriac, that’s not exactly news.”
The comedian uses many of the darkest parts of his life to fuel his comedy, with previous specials featuring jokes ranging from school ground heartbreak to the death of his mother.
Adam Rowe appears at Parr Hall on Saturday November 18, tickets are on sale now
