POLICE are appealing for the rightful owners of an abandoned motorhome to come forward after it was found at a service station on the M6.
Officers in Cheshire Police's Rural Crime team discovered the vehicle yesterday, Monday, at Lymm Services.
The motorhome, which could have potentially been stolen itself, was located during a search for stolen plant and agricultural equipment.
The team recovered the vehicle and transported it to a police storage facility.
A Cheshire Police Rural Crime team spokesman posted on Facebook: "Do you know where your motorhome is?
"If not and you recognise this one (and have proof of ownership), please get in touch with us via 101, quoting IML 1509901.
"The motorhome was located at Lymm Motorway Service Station yesterday while conducting routine patrols for stolen plant and agricultural equipment.
"It is understood to have been there some time and may well have been stolen at some stage.
"It has been recovered to a police storage facility pending identification of the rightful owner."
