TWO exciting new rides have been announced at Gulliver’s World.
They are part of the new car-themed area which comes as Gulliver’s celebrates 45 years in business.
The area includes two new rides – the rollercoaster Grand Prix Racer and Overdrive, as well as a host of play attractions and ride ons.
The Grand Prix Racer roller-coaster takes those race drivers brave enough on a fast and furious journey filled with terrific twists and turns while Overdrive, one of Gulliver’s World’s most daring rides, is a 360-degree thrill that temporarily turns riders’ worlds upside down.
The area will be unveiled at a special launch weekend from Friday, March 31, to Sunday, April 2.
The launch weekend will kick off with a special community invite-only event on Friday where guests will get access to the resort to explore the new area and have a god on the rides.
Saturday and Sunday will see the launch fun continue as the resort opens up to the general public.
Local competition winners will officially open the Gears area and theme-park goers will be able to take part in a special Gully’s Pit-Stop party where the Gulliver’s entertainment team will be in full swing.
There will be race-themed face painting on offer, photo opportunities on a podium with Gully and Gilly Mouse, bubble machines, car-inspired music and much more.
Gulliver’s World, and really excited to welcome our guests to the exciting race-themed launch weekend where there will be so much for people to enjoy!
“Young thrill seekers – and the young at heart – will love the Grand Prix Racer roller coaster and Overdrive rides and it’s wonderful to have a new area of the park where families can make even more magical memories.
“As a family business, we’re constantly looking at ways to invest and refresh our resorts, so we’re pleased to be making this important enhancement to our resort here in Warrington, especially as 2023 marks the 45th anniversary of Gulliver’s first theme park opening. We can promise a lot more fun and frolics in the months ahead to help us celebrate with our wonderful and loyal customers!”
