BENTS Garden and Home has unveiled the activities it will lay out durinng the Easter holidays to keep the kids busy.
The garden centre was recently named the best large garden centre in the north west, and will be putting on a range of events during the holiday.
There are four different activities that are planned for children of all ages, across a number of days.
Announced by Bents to the Warrington Guardian, the events cover a range of activities, with a number of them fittingly revolving around a chocolatey theme.
The events are:
- Chocolate lollipop workshop
- Easter-themed creation station
- Easter family fun day
- Bents’ big bunny hop
The lollipop workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 4, between 9.30am and 11am, and will involve a chocolatier demonstrating different chocolate-making techniques, before atendees making their own lollipops and decorating them with the techniques demonstrated.
There will be two dates for the Easter creation station; Monday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 13. Bents said: "Little ones can roll up their sleeves at Bents’ creation station and light up someone's Easter by decorating an egg-cellent Easter tealight holder, using deco pens and crafting accessories."
The station will run on the above dates between 10am – 10.45am and 11am – 11.45am.
Saturday, April 8, will see the Easter family fun day come to Bents Garden and Home, which promises to be fun for all - the event will run all-day, and some favourite characters will be there, too, with Willy Wonka handing out sweets between 10am and 4pm on the day.
There will also be a 'mini farm' on-site, too, boasting appearances from calves, lambs, goats, rabbits and more.
Finally, Bents' big bunny hop (Sunday, April 16) is the garden centre's annual charity five-kilometre track, which will aim to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Assosciation.
All entrants will receive a medal, drink, and a chocolate treat, too.
There will also be an Easter treasure hunt running through Bents for the entirety of the Easter holidays.
