THE Golden Square Shopping Centre has announced 'Cinema in the Square' during the Easter holidays.

Billed as something to keep the kids busy during the holidays, a number of films will be shown throughout the holidays, and all will be free to watch.

'Cinema in the Square' will take place in the Old Marketplace, with a total of 13 dates being added to the list.

A film will be shown on 13 different days during the Easter break, with the only day going without a film being Easter Sunday, April 9.

The films are due to be shown at midday in the Old Marketplace, with the full list of dates and films below:

  • Monday, April 3 - Beauty and the Beast
  • Tuesday, April 4 - Wonder Park
  • Wednesday, April 5 - The Lion Kind
  • Thursday, April 6 - Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Friday, April 7 - The Secret Life of Pets
  • Saturday, April 8 - Alice in Wonderland
  • Sunday, April 9 - Closed
  • Monday, April 10 - The Jungle Book
  • Tuesday, April 11 - The Little Mermaid
  • Wednesday, April 12 - Up
  • Thursday, April 13 - Dumbo
  • Friday, April 14 - Frozen
  • Saturday, April 15 - Aladdin
  • Sunday, April 16 - Cinderella

'Cinema in the Square' runs from Monday, April 3, until Sunday, April 16, in the Old Marketplace in the Golden Square shopping centre - the films will be shown at midday, and are free.
