AN adventure theme park is gearing up for the Easter holidays and has slashed its annual ticket prices to allow more families to enjoy the attractions.
BeWILDerwood is a huge woodland adventure full of family entertainment and outdoor activities just off the A49 in Cheshire.
It’s based on the magical and enchanting books by author and creator Tom Blofeld and a day spent at BeWILDerwood promises to inspire imaginations.
Throughout the winter, the site is only opens at weekends but from April 1 – to coincide with the Easter holidays – it will be open seven days a week right through until October.
And with annual ticket prices slashed this year to between £45 and £75, it means visitors will be allowed unlimited entry for the next six months as well as 15 per cent off in the café and gift shops.

Children under 92cm go free in the park with day ticket prices starting at £13.50.
The Cheshire theme park near Whitchurch isn’t just for kids – grown ups can get involved too as there’s something to keep all members of the family busy for the day.
There are wonky tree houses, super slides and giant swings as well as extra-long zip wires and towering treetop tangles.

Tom Blofeld said: “BeWILDerwood really is the ultimate family day out!
“Visitors can leave the real world behind and spend a full day discovering the magical world of BeWILDerwood.
“No matter how old you are, you can discover giant slippery slides, muddled mazes, extra-long zip wires, and so much more.
“Plus, everything including arts, crafts, face painting and storytelling shows are free of charge.

Author and poet Tom Blofeld has written three books – A Boggle at Bewilderwood, The Bewilderbats and A Bewildermuddle – and opened the first BeWILDerwood in Hoveton, Norwich in 2007 before opening a second adventure site just off the A49 two years ago.
The theme park prides itself in having no loud rides or technology on site and the two food pit stops sell local food produced by certified farmers.
Either the Cosy Cabin or the Munch Bar will be open when you visit or you can bring your own picnic to replenish your energy levels throughout the day.
The theme park’s storytelling stage will host an Easter story this April – The Pesky Bunnies of BeWILDerwood – with a delicious smell of chocolate wafting through the woods signalling the start of the Great Egg Party.
The show will be on at 1pm and 3pm each of the Easter holidays and A Boggle at BeWILDerwood will take to the stage at noon and 2pm each day.

There’s also craft activities where youngsters can make their own bunny ears between 11am and 4pm and the face painting pavilion will be open so little ones can have their own bunny nose and whiskers.

A special Easter eggs-pedition will be set up around the theme park organised by the mischievous bunnies.
They’ve hidden six colourful eggs up in the trees, each one painted with a letter that will reveal the bunnies’ favourite time of year.
