TWO people suspected of freight offences were arrested in Cheshire after a police chase on the M62.
Patrols from three forces and a police helicopter teamed up to apprehend a van last night, suspected to be involved in freight crime.
Two occupants of the vehicle were arrested for various offences.
A spokesman for North West Motorways Police posted on social media: “Excellent stop last night after an LGV suspected to be involved in freight crime was spotted in Cheshire.
“Patrols from our three forces, assisted by the National Police Air Search (NPAS), brought the LPV to a safe stop on the M62.
“Two occupants arrested for various offences.”
