A SLIP road on the M6 has now reopened after 48 hours of repair works.
The Junction 21 northbound exit slip road was closed from the morning of Wednesday, February 15, until around 7am today, February 17.
Closures took place on the sliproad due to a collision that saw a vehicle flip over.
Included in the repair works were repairs to barriers on the slip road, as well as resurfacing of the road, too.
Initially, the incident saw at least one lane of the M6 closed, but normal traffic resumed along the motorway soon after.
A National Highways North West spokesperson confirmed that the slip road had reopened, saying: "The M6 northbound exit slip road at J21 has reopened following emergency barrier repairs and resurfacing works.
"Thank you for your patience, please have a safe onward journey."
