THREE women have been arrested as part of the police investigation into the death of Billy Moore before Christmas.
Cheshire Police confirmed late on Tuesday that they had been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They are currently being quizzed by detectives.
Who has been arrested
The women, aged 45, 49 and 60, were all arrested on Tuesday morning on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have all been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
What happened to Billy Moore?
He died on December 22 from multiple stab wounds and a murder investigation began.
He was injured following the attack on Yardley Avenue in Bewsey but died later in hospital.
Has anyone else been arrested?
A 41-year-old man has since been arrested and charged with murder in relation to Billy’s death.
James Ireland, of Lodge Lane, Warrington, is currently remanded in custody awaiting trial in July.
He will stand trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder before Christmas but was released without charge.
